West Michigan’s only Master Pilates Trainer Ahmé Bovée is Founder, Studio Director of Pilates in East.  Studying in Toronto, New York, California and Miami Ahmé has over 15 years experience as a fitness trainer and 10 years in Pilates, including 3 years as a Certified Teacher Trainer with Body Harmonics Brand of Toronto Canada, before becoming a member of the BBU Faculty in January 2009.

Selected as a Host Site by Balanced Body University (BBU), Pilates in East is proud to offer the finest in Pilates Instructor Training. BBU education programs have been designed to meet the needs of today's Pilates professionals. Courses are modular and progressive allowing you to start with a basic mat or reformer training and continue your education as you see fit.   

The Balanced Body University Pilates Program includes a full repertoire of classical exercises along with modifications and additions designed to make Pilates successful for all ages and abilities. Our curriculum meets national guidelines and is designed to prepare you for the Pilates Method Alliance certification exam upon completion of our full program.
